Add or fix time entries afterwards
Forgot the timer, stopped it too late or missed a whole day? In the calendar you add and correct times afterwards – right in the row or in the editor for the whole day. Zeitbro works out the break for you.

- In the row, click the start or end time, type the new time and press Enter.
- For status, notes and project time, use Edit Entry in the row's ⋯ menu, then Save Changes.

1 · Open the calendar
Click Calendar at the top or in the bottom bar on a phone. The arrows next to the month switch months, and Today jumps back. Each row is one day; phones show cards.
2 · Change a time right in the row
Click the start or end time – an empty day shows --:-- there. Type the new time and press Enter. Four digits such as 0815 are taken at once, and Escape cancels. Zeitbro recalculates the break and work time and confirms with Time updated. An empty workday is saved as Office.
3 · Edit the whole day in the editor
Open Edit Entry from the row’s ⋯ menu. In Edit Time Entry you choose the status at the top and enter your times under Clock In / Out. On an empty day, 09:00 and 18:00 are filled in but not yet calculated: saved untouched, they give Clock Out must be after Clock In. So change at least one time, even if you only change it and back. The line above shows the sum: time present − break = work time. If the end is earlier than the start, Zeitbro counts it as the next day (+1 day).
This is also where you write Notes and split the work time between projects. If you have set up Quick Time Presets under Settings → Time Entry, one click on a preset fills in both times. Finish with Save Changes.
4 · Fix days recorded with the timer
Days tracked with the timer consist of work and away blocks, so clicking their time opens Manage Time Blocks. Use the pencil to change a block’s start and end, add one with Work or Away, then click Save Changes. Zeitbro recalculates work time and break from the blocks. If you change the start or end time in the editor instead, Zeitbro moves the first or last work block.
5 · Notes, copy and paste
To add a note, use the note icon in the row – on a phone, Add Note in the ⋯ menu – and save it with Save Notes.
If a day repeats, choose Copy in the ⋯ menu and Paste on the target day. Zeitbro copies start, end, break and work time, but not the status or the note. Paste is not available on full-day absences such as vacation, sick leave or a public holiday, and on a day off (Weekend) it saves nothing despite the message – use the editor there. If your browser asks for clipboard access, allow it.
6 · Delete a day
In the editor, click Delete at the bottom left and confirm with Delete.
The confirmation only mentions the time entry, but Zeitbro also removes all project time recorded for that day. This cannot be undone.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add work on a weekend?
The calendar hides days off that have no entry. Click All at the top – on a phone, All Days in the filter menu – open the day, choose Office or Home Office in the editor and enter your start and end times.
Why can't I change today?
While the workday timer is running or set to Away, the editor and times for that day are locked. While it runs, you can still open the time blocks via ⋯ → Time Blocks; on Away, click Resume first.
Does my balance update straight away?
Yes. Once you save, the calendar recalculates the day's work time and the +/− and Total columns.
